The Vynsera supplement guide

Choosing a supplement starts with the exact formula, serving size and your own circumstances. This guide brings our current oral supplement range together, with a practical way to compare bottles and read the details before you order.

Find the formula you want to understand

What to check on a supplement label

Read the full label for the exact product you are considering. A front-of-pack ingredient name is a starting point; the serving panel gives the context needed to compare it fairly.

  1. Serving size: one serving may contain more than one capsule or tablet. Bottle count and number of servings are different measurements.
  2. Ingredient form: look for the named compound, plant species or extract information where supplied. Products with a similar name can use different forms.
  3. Amount per serving: check whether a number describes an ingredient, a blend or a specific constituent. For magnesium, compound weight and elemental magnesium are different.
  4. Other ingredients: include capsule shells, carriers and other materials when checking suitability. Ask us before ordering if an allergen or dietary detail is unclear.
  5. Directions and cautions: follow the product label. Do not borrow the serving instructions from another bottle or a different brand.

The NIH guide to dietary supplements explains how ingredient amounts and serving information appear on supplement labels. It also describes why supplements cannot replace a varied diet.

Compare the routine as well as the bottle

Think about whether you prefer a capsule, tablet or another format, what you can consistently use as directed and whether the formula fits what you already take. A larger bottle is only useful if it is appropriate for your needs. Compare the number of labelled servings before estimating how long a pack will last.

Keep a list of supplements and medicines to discuss with your pharmacist or clinician. Two products can contain overlapping ingredients even when the front labels look very different. A new supplement should not be used to explain away persistent symptoms or delay appropriate care.

Your supplement questions, answered

Does a 90-count bottle mean 90 days?

Not necessarily. Divide the number of capsules or tablets by the labelled daily serving. Check the actual instructions before calculating supply.

Can I compare magnesium products by the largest number on the front?

Check what that number measures. The amount of a magnesium compound is not necessarily the amount of elemental magnesium. Read the serving panel and compare like with like.

Can I combine several supplements?

Check for overlapping ingredients and ask a pharmacist or clinician about your medicines, health conditions and existing routine. Do not assume that combining products is suitable for you.

Are wellness patches the same as oral supplements?

They use different formats and directions. Do not assume an equivalent dose or result. Our patch guide explains listed amounts, skin suitability and application.

Where can I read more about specific ingredients?

Browse our magnesium articles, beetroot articles and oregano and black seed articles. Use the product page for the exact formula being sold.
